Reading Notes: Myths and Legends of Alaska

The Raven Myth: Raven's Creation 

Characters: 

Man: Raven created him

Raven: He can transform from Raven to a Man 

Plot: 

Man is born from a beach pod that Raven created. It was an accidental creation because Raven didn't know who Man was. Raven taught Man about water and gave him berries. Raven created a mountain goat. Man said it was beautiful. Raven said that the mountain goat will live in the mountains so not every one can kill it. Raven also created Man another companion. 

Change the story: 

I think I will write this story from the Raven's perspective. I might add some more details on Raven's origin. I will also add some dialogue between the Man and his new companion at the end.
