I'm probably most excited to learn about Japanese mythology and fairy tales. Here's an image from one of the stories, "The Sparrow with the Slit Tongue" by Andrew Lang. 

I'm also pretty excited to read about King Arthur and Robin Hood. I always loved watching remakes of movies from those times.
